Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil: Review and Swatches

I am here to announce that alas, I have run out of my beloved Anastasia Brow Wiz. Around the same time, I finished the only other brow product I owned (!), my Em brow pencil. With naked brows I ran to Sephora, ready to pick up another brow wiz, when this little pencil caught my eye.
Photos and swatches under the cut!

This pencil has a unique wedge-shape to it that's unlike any other brow product I've ever tried. It makes it so that you can draw lines varying in thickness. Case and point:
For the record, I have the shade "blonde"
The top line is drawn with the thick part of the wedge. Second is the tip of the wedge, the thinnest line (which is a bit hard to control, because the pencil is pretty thick to hold). The bottom is the underside of the wedge, which creates a line kind of between the other two. The consistency of this pencil is pretty waxy, which is kind of good in that it makes it tough to go overboard. If you do want thick, dark brows, though, it's a little more difficult and you have to press pretty hard onto your skin. The pencil can tend to drag a bit, too, which can tend to be uncomfortable.

The other end of the pencil has a spoolie:
blurry, I know...
...which I don't like as much as the one on the other end of the Brow Wiz (sorry!) as it's much more flimsy. I don't feel like it... brushes through the brows as well, if you know what I mean.

In total: I don't think I like this pencil as much as I like the Anastia Brow Wiz, because it's harder to control and has less color payoff. On the up side, however, there is quite a bit more product in this pencil and I can see it lasting for a long time. That being said, I still think that there are amazing brow products out there, and will continue my quest before I cave and buy the Anastasia again.

What's your favorite brow product?
